Hanrahan outstanding for Munster
JJ Hanrahan was outstanding for Munster as they firmly quenched the Dragons fire-power in front of a full house at Irish Independent Park on Friday night in the Guinness Pro 14.
Rory Scannell, Simon Zebo, Jack O'Donoghue, Darren Sweetnam, Sam Arnold (two) and Kevin O'Byrne touched down as man of the match Hanrahan kicked all seven conversions in the victory.
Two of Hanrahan's kicks were from way out on the touchline and showed the confidence that he is playing with at the moment. Hanrahan also contributed two try scoring assists in what is expected to be Rassie Erasmus' last game in charge of Munster.
This display from the young Currow man will give incoming manager Johann van Graan plenty of food for thought on who to pick in the number 10 jersey going forward. Munster now lie in second place in the table with 26 points, but remain 12 points behind the leaders, Glasgow Warriors.
Their next game in the competition will be away to Italian side Zebre on November 26, where another bonus point win should be well within her capabilities, as they strive to make up some ground at the top of the table.
