Dates are decided for the O'Donoghue Cup semi-finals

THE Aquila Club O'Donoghue Cup semi-finals fixtures are Legion v Listry on Sunday, December 1 and Dr Crokes V Currow on Sunday, December 8. Both games at 2pm and in Fitzgerald Stadium.


CONGRATS to to Dr. Crokes on winning the Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final last Saturday and best of luck in the Final. Congratulations also to the Legion minors who won the County League Division 2 Final, against St Marys / Renard on Saturday.

Delegate Meeting

THE East Kerry Board Delegates meeting is on Tuesday, November 26 at 9pm, in the Killarney Heights Hotel.

Book Launch

NOVEMBER 29 is a date to note for Gneeveguilla GAA club, with the launch of their book on the history of the club Proud Past, Bright Future at 9pm in club bar. The book will be officially launched by Sean Kelly MEP. Everyone welcome.

Cumman Na mBunscol

EAST Kerry was well represented at the Kerry Cumman Na mBunscol county finals, which took place in Austin Stack Park last Thursday.

Well done to all teams on performing well. Lisivigeen NS showed fantastic spirit to defeat Curaheen NS in the urban schools final after extra time was needed to decide the outcome. Presentation Monastery NS defeated a strong St Johns Kenmare team in a superb game with a vital second half goal proving decisive.

Holy Family NS Rathmore delivered a superb team performance to outclass a brave Lisselton NS team in the 6 - 8 teacher final. Congratulations to all players and management on securing such fantastic results.

St Pats East Kerry

THE St Pats night out is on Saturday, November 30 in the Manor Hotel, Killorglin.

Starting with the AGM at 8.30pm and following with the presentation of County Championship medals along with player and clubmen of the year refreshments and celebrations.
