Upcoming classes in the Dromid Centre

Íoga Vinyasa ag tosnú le Julie ó Green/Blue Yoga ar an Mháirt ag 9.30 a.m agus ar an Deardaoin ag 6.30 i.n. Digiteach na Dromoda / Dromid GTeic Hub

We had a fantastic ‘Digital First Day’ here in Dromid on Friday last with Niall Casey the make-up artist and influencer and Bernard Carey who works with a company called ATOS. We had a great online attendance and both key-note speakers gave us a fantastic insight into their work and the positive influence of technology on how they work. We are very grateful to Eoin Costelloe in Digital HQ in Dublin and Micheál Ó Duibhir from Údarás na Gaeltachta for all of their support in this event.

5 Year Area Plan

The Comhchoiste is compiling a 5 Year Development for the area. There will be a public meeting taking place Ballinskelligs on Thursday November 24th @ 8 pm. The input of the community is vital to develop a comprehensive plan. GAA Fixtures

Good luck to Beaufort senior men and management in the Mid Kerry senior championship final of 2022.

They will play Milltown/Castlemaine on Sunday, 27th November at 2pm in J. P. O’Sullivan Park, Killorglin.

Replay in the event of a draw. All support is greatly appreciated.

Results

Beaufort senior men have reached the Mid Kerry senior championship football final for the second year in a row.

They defeated Glenbeigh/Glencar in the semi-final on Sunday in a game that went to a penalty shootout.

Score after extra time was Beaufort 0.18 Glenbeigh/Glencar 1.15.

Film Night

Beaufort Film Night will hold a screening on Friday 25th November at 8.30pm at the Inn Between Bar, Beaufort. The feature film to be screened is The Peanut Butter Falcon, an American comedy-drama. Cert 12A. Admission €7.

Lotto

The next draw for a jackpot of €10,600 will be on Sunday, 27th November. Tickets available from usual sellers, shops, public houses and online at www.beaufortgaa.com. Thank you to everybody who support the lotto. It is the main fundraiser for the day to day running of the Club.

Cahersiveen Library

On Thursday December 1st at 7pm join Kerry Social farming and Live project for a talk and presentation on Biodiversity and the fascinating wildlife found in the Iveragh peninsula with an emphasis on farmland birds, bumble bees and butterflies. Free event and all welcome.

Johnny O’Mahony memorial Christmas tractor display

The Johnny O’Mahony memorial Christmas tractor display will take place on Saturday 10th December 2022 in Cahirciveen. Assembly at 5pm . Registration at 4:30pm at the Fairfield.

All proceeds will go to Cúnamh Iveragh towards their respite centre for adults with intellectual disabilities.
