Death

The news of the untimely death of Gerald Kennelly, Moyvane and formerly Lacca, Lisselton, following a very brief illness, was met with shock and disbelief on Thursday, June 9th both in Ballydonoghue and Moyvane as well as the wider North Kerry area.

Gerald was well known in the plumbing business, as a very mild-mannered guy who was very dependable and obliging. His popularity was evidenced by the huge attendance as he lay in repose at Lyons Funeral Home on Sunday and again at the Funeral Mass on Monday in Moyvane. Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Mary B and Joe and his sister, Marie.

Sympathy is extended to his son, Paul, daughter, Fiona and their mother, Mary, his brothers, Frances, Seán, Tim, Tom and Mike, his sisters, Bernie (Daly) and Nora and to their extended families, his uncle, Gerald Counihan, Causeway, his cousins, neighbours and many friends. May he rest in peace.
