Four lucky transition year students from St Brigid’s in Killarney are Brussels bound next month for what is sure to be a trip they’ll never forget.

Aoileann Ni Dhubháin, Aoibhín Kelly, Clodagh O’Connor and Sorcha Blackwell are the lucky four in question who have been selected to travel to Brussels as part of a funded trip courtesy of Mr. Seán Kelly MEP.

The girls will join a group of students from five schools across Kerry and Cork who will travel to Brussels from October 23 to October 25 where they will learn about the work of MEPs and the EU institutions more generally.

The trip will include a visit to the European Parliament and the Hemicycle gallery.
