As part of the programme students are involved in areas like: Young Social Innovators; Community placements; Work Experience placements and are taking on the role of production team for the joint schools musical 'The Sound of Music'.

The T.Y. students have set up a Credit Union and are in engaged in a F1 technology project and have also completed a module on forensics.

"Students are benefiting enormously from the opportunity to engage in a wide range of learning activities. The educational partnership between the two schools offers a unique approach to Transition Year, one that will provide students with the expertise and resources of both schools," said principal, Eileen Kennelly.
