Rebeccah sends temperatures soaring in Algarve

ONE thing is for sure as far as upcoming young model Rebeccah O'Rourke from Listowel is concerned - a bikini photoshoot in the Algarve beats the hell out of a beach shoot in Kerry in the dead of winter!

Rebeccah nearly developed hypothermia on a bikini shoot in Ballybunion two months ago.

But way down south in the Algarve last week and she was in her element as these shots show.

The 23-year-old from Ballygologue is making waves in the world of glamour and fitness modelling from her new base in Carlow, where she moved to be closer to her main centre of work in Dublin.

Already, she has come up tops in a number of fitness competitions in the county and is working round-the-clock to get as many modelling jobs as she can.

"You just have to throw yourself into as many things as it takes to get noticed!" Rebeccah told The Kerryman.

She was certainly assured of notice through the latest bikini/lingerie shoot by fashion photographer Vince Tully.

"It was amazing, 26 degrees all the week we were there and we were really happy with how the shot went.

"It definitely beats the last beach shoot I did which was two months ago in Ballybunion. There was hardly a soul on the beach and the few who were there were looking at us as if we were mad!" Rebeccah laughed.

Meanwhile, she's getting great support from parents Pa O'Rourke and Sharon Farrelly, as well as family and friends at home in Listowel.

"I've done a good few shoots by now and they're well used to seeing me in bikinis! They're great encouragement to me in fairness and I'm just looking forward now to my next shoot in Kerry as I'm usually at home for work every couple of months," she said.
