There was style to beat the band in the stunning environs of the Ballyroe Heights Hotel last week as students from the IT Tralee pushed aside their exam and assignment worries for the night.

The occasion? Well, the highly anticipated annual IT Tralee Student's Union College Ball of course. Billed as the end of year, 'Carnival Ball', the evening was a way for students to let their hair down as the enjoyed a great night of live music, food and drink. Before the music and the revellry though, students were treated to a mouth-watering three course meal and a drinks reception.

After the dinners had settled and the wine and other refreshments were well and truly flowing, the students then took to the dancefloor where music was provided by the excellent live band, 'Clockworks' before DJ Eanna Grealy took over to lead them well into the early hours.
