Hanna O'Connell was for once stuck for words having met with her hero Simon Zebo in Paris last weekend,  after a special invitation from the rugby star to see him in action with his new club, Racing 92.

Hanna is one of the former Munster and international rugby star's biggest fans, so she was over the moon when on Valentine's day she got the invitation of a life-time to come and see him play in Paris. Last weekend saw this dream come through as Hanna and her mom, Marisa jetted for a weekend they described as 'unforgettable' and 'amazing'.

"I can't even put it into words," said Marisa.  Hanna, who has Cystic Fibrosis, hit the headlines in recent years during a campaign to get access to the Orkambi drug to treat her and others who suffer from the illness.

She had met Simon on a few occasions on trips to Thomond Park and when he announced he was leaving Munster she paid a special visit to see him before his departure.  Simon met Hanna at the team hotel in Saturday night before the match and on Sunday Hanna and Marisa watched the game in the VIP area with Simon's  family. Simon was not playing but that didn't dampen the mood and Hanna met him again after the game on and the pair exchanged gifts. Hanna presented him with a specially designed bangle and he gave her a signed Racing 92 jersey - now her pride and joy.

"It was amazing weekend," sums it up for both Hanna and her mother Marisa.
