If there is someone in your life between the ages of 13 to 21 who you think would be worthy of receiving a Lee Strand/Kerry Garda Youth Achievement Award, then now is your chance to nominate them.

The awards, which aim to recognise contribution that young people have made and continue to made to the communities in Kerry, were officially launched by last Friday; the awards will be held in Ballyroe Heights Hotel on January 25, 2019.

The closing date for receipt of nominations is Friday, December 7 2018. Any member of the public can nominate a young person whom they feel has made a contribution to their local area.
