The cream of Kerry's business interests gathered at The Ballygarry House Hotel on Friday night as The Kerryman hosted its inaugural annual Business Awards.

Guest speaker Gavin Duffy entertained on the night and gave his inside track on the economy's road to recovery. There were also a few 'secrets' shared from his Dragon's Den appearances which certainly raised eyebrows.

MC on the night, former Kerry Rose Maria Walsh, welcomed each of the finalists on stage for the nine categories and there was a standing ovation as Jim Garvey from Garvey's SuperValu Tralee deservedly picked up the overall award.
