Manor West to welcome in 'Tour De Munster' cyclists
Out and About in Tralee
Cycling legend Seán Kelly and over 100 amateur cyclists can expect the usual brilliant Tralee welcome this coming Friday when they arrive into Manor West for the second day of the fundraising 600km Tour De Munster cycle.
Now into its 19th year, the 2019 event is once again raising vital funds and awareness for the selfless work being down in a number of Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI) branches all across Munster.
Over the past nine years, the Kerry branch of DSI has benefited greatly from the funds raised as a result of the Tour de Munster charity cycle. From 2pm to 6pm this Friday, August 9, there will be a whole host of fun activities - zumba dancing, face painting, balloon modelling to name just a few - held in the Manor West Retail Park and shopping centre.
"The Tour de Munster is such a fantastic event and we will truly never be able to show how grateful we are for all of the awareness and the funds raised for the charity," said Madeleine Rose Doyle, the PRO of Down Syndrome Ireland Kerry.
