After being cooped up for the majority of the year due to COVID-19, the return of summer camps has been a big bonus for the younger generation as they bid to make up for lost time with their friends.

One such camp which went down swimmingly was one held out in Fenit earlier this month for young kids - under the expert tuition of coach John Edwards.

Safe sea swimming is one of the best techniques that you can learn as a youngster, and with John as their tutor, these kids will certainly come away quite a-depth in the area.

Amongst the many important techniques that the kids got to the grips with were the importance of working and perfecting their swim technique; how to maintain and improve their stamina levels; while all the while continuously working on their distance and open-water skills.

It wasn't all work with no play, however, with plenty of fun and games peppered in throughout as well.
