IF you fancy a complete makeover for the new year, where you'll not only change your personal appearance but also your attitude towards food, then the people at Shakti Fitness & Wellness Studios may just have the answer.

On January 13, the Abbeyfeale business will kickstart its eight week 'Life Changing Transformation Programme' and they're looking for 20 individuals to take part in the competition.

Participants will be guided through every step of the way with expert instruction, guidance and support on exercise, nutrition, motivation and mindset throughout the programme.

They have almost 20 years experience in health and fitness and promise they'll be able to get the participants to make exercise part of their lifestyles and not just for the eight weeks of the programme.

Participants will be asked to commit to taking part in three varied exercise sessions that will target those flabby areas, incorporating a specialised exercise programme that will help steer and motivate them towards reaching their goals and making exercise part of their daily life.

Also joining the team for the programme will be nutritionist Andrea Cullen, who has worked with the Munster Rugby squad, Sonia O'Sullivan, Derval O'Rourke and Paul Hession. Their overall aim is to help give participants the tools necessary to change their behaviour and attitude towards food forever.

Anyone interested in signing up for the programme is asked to contact Breda (087 4144303) or Maggie 087-9866533 before December 20 to avail of a package discount.

The winner of the competition receives a hair and beauty makeover to the value of €500 at award winning salon, Tangles Hair & Beauty Abbeyfeale; a professional photoshoot by photographer Karen Playford and six months free membership at Shakti Fitness Studio.
