We were delighted with the event overall. The atmosphere was electric and to see so many young kids and their families taking part made the event very special," she said.

"Offering the two distances makes the event very accessible to both young and old and it was lovely to hear the kids asking each other the million dollar question regarding what distance they would go for," said Helen.

"Wed like to say a huge thank you to Lee Strand and Foley's Spar on the Castlemaine Road for sponsoring our event for the third successive year, to Declan Costello for supplying us with our finishing arch and to all other local businesses who offered us post race treats for out big day," she added.
