Kerin's O'Rahilly's GAA club house was filling up nicely last Wednesday night when The Kerryman paid a visit to cover the fundraising table quiz taking place there.

With the Liverpool/Barcelona game on the TV and the gentle rhythm of conversation filling the bar, it was a relaxed atmosphere all round.

The brainchild of Naomi O'Brien, Amanda Howard and Siobhán Ryan, the night was im aid of Pieta House with all funds going towards helping the charity to continue to provide professional services to people who are in suicidal crisis, those who are self-harming and people who have been bereaved by suicide.

There were a number of fantastic prizes on the night including a number of beautiful looking hampers and by all accounts, the night can be called a great success.

No final word yet on how much money was raised, but as is the case with all of these local and vital charities, every small little bit helps.
