Monster Bingo for Curraheen Parish
Bingo fans everywhere are being invited to attend a major fundraising event for Curraheen Parish and its current works to extend the community room at Curraheen Church.
The room will be a massive asset for the local community, already in use by a wide range of groups active in the parish.
Now, organisers are calling on everyone to come along to the KDYS in Denny Street, Tralee, for a 'Monster Bingo' afternoon on Sunday, November 4, next from 2pm.
With plenty of spot prizes, raffles and lashings of fun on the side, it's set to be a great afternoon for all supporting a great initiative. "The extension on the community room at Curraheen Church entails bringing the facilities up to health and safety standards and will also include a kitchenette and wheelchair-accessible toilet," organiser Ann O'Shea Daly said, adding: "It is hoped that the newly developed room will generate further community activity and will be of special benefit to all families." Groups from the ICA to the Community Council, GAA, Church Liturgy Group and Senior Citizens currently use it.
