The Killarney Plaza Hotel provided the setting for the Legion's annual 'Spring Party' on Friday last.

It's an occasion when the club faithful take stock of the season that was, while preparing for a busy one to come.

Legion GAA Club is in rude health in terms of its underage structures, while retaining its Division One status in the County League in 2019 is the priority for the club.

Over 150 people attended the event as awards were handed out to their worthy recipients.

Donal Hegarty proudly received his Hall of Fame accolade for all his years serving the club; Billy Maguire was named Senior Player of Year; while Micheál Devlin was the Junior Player of the Year.

Club member Enda Walsh, who is involved with the senior management team this season, praised everyone at the club for their work and dedication.

"We always welcome young players to come and join us on Saturday mornings. We have a vibrant underage structure that our club personnel work hard on maintaining. We're looking forward to the new season, and Friday night's event was a good way of looking back while also looking ahead to a new season," Enda said.
