Helping to keep alert in the Beaufort area

Protecting your home and possessions is the subject of a special talk next Tuesday evening, November 28, in Beaufort Parish Hall.

Beaufort Community Council, in conjunction with Beaufort Community Alert, will host the talk which will also highlight the need for residents to keep alert in the locality and the evening begins at 8.30pm.

Kerry Fire Service will be in attendance to share information on how to protect your home from fire.

Community Text alerts are up and working in the locality and there will be application forms available on the night for anyone who hasn't signed up yet, the cost is €10 per year.

The evening will be one of a series of informative talks over the coming months.

Retiring recently from the Beaufort Community Council is Timmy Moriarty, who had served 18 years, and brought many projects to fruition in his term and also Noel Spillane and Brigid Hartnett.
