Caherdaniel hits the road for charity

The Caherdaniel community was out in force for charity over the Christmas holidays, with two walks held in the area to raise money for two very worthy causes.

The first event was the village's Reindeer Walk, which took place just before Christmas and was organised to raise money for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association.

It wasn't long before the community were back on the road, this time taking part in a walk in aid of Brú Columbanus, the Cork-based charity that provides accommodation for relatives of seriously ill patients.
