MANOR West Retail Park and promotional body Taste Kerry have teamed up once again to organise an expanded rerun of the successful food fair they held at the shopping centre in the Spring.

Following the success of April's Taste of Tralee at Manor West, the organisers have decided to do it all again but this time around the focus of the event will be expanded and will feature locally made artisan foods from all over Kerry.

The Taste of Kerry food fair will take place at Manor West on Saturday and Sunday August 3 and 4 from 12noon to 6pm with artisan food producers from all over Kerry setting up their stalls in the retail park's main concourse.

Over the course of the weekend a wide range of Kerry Food Producers will be showcasing their produce giving the thousands of visitors to the Centre the opportunity to sample a huge range of Kerry made products.

Manor West Centre Manager Derek Rusk said the centre is thrilled to be holding another food fair.

"Kerry is blessed to be the home of many renowned artisan food producers, famous for a number of products that have been tempting the palates of food lovers for generations," he said.

"The food fair is a wonderful opportunity for all of us in Manor West to support these local producers by giving them access to the centre to showcase their delicious products, local resources and talent. Visitors to the Centre will get to meet the people and hear the stories behind the terrific products and get the chance to bring home some really special locally produced treats," said Mr Rusk.
