Cycle needs homestays

Cycle Against Suicide will roll into Kerry next month and organisers are calling on families in  Killarney and the surrounding areas two open up their doors to the cyclists who will be cycling around the country to promote mental health.

The cycle will start on April 27 and runs until May 6 with hundreds of cyclists spreading the message "It's okay not to feel okay and its absolutely okay to ask for help".

Central to the success of the annual cycle is home-stays for cyclists. This year's cycle will come to Killarney and Listowel  and former Rose Julett Culloty is leading the call for home-stays.  People are being asked to host one or more cyclists in their home overnight in Killarney on Wednesday,  May 1. The cycle will arrive to Killarney Community College and will depart the town again on Thursday, May 2.
