Due to the nature of their work, it's not often that the Fenit RNLI get the chance to let their hair down, but when it comes to celebrating the organisation's 25-year anniversary, they'll make an exception.

Ballyroe Heights Hotel was the venue for the group's Black Tie Charity Ball last Saturday night as over 250 guests, each dressed to the nines, waited excitedly for the milestone celebration dinner to start.

After being greeted at their arrival by a drinks reception, guests were first treated to canapés before they got to sit down and enjoy a delicious four-course meal.

In-meal entertainment from The Kerry Wedding Singers ensured that spirits were high throughout dinner while the entertainment afterwards was provided by the terrific Deuces Wild with the craic continuing on until well into the night afterwards with a disco.
