We are incredibly lucky here in Tralee to have such a rich vein of live music talent available to us and again this weekend, we can look forward to another great night of tunes as the 'Stag & Doe Sessions' returns to town. Its last outing was in the Ashe Hotel a few months ago and it was a huge success and so this Saturday night, June 15, it is coming to The Fiddler Bar in The Square.

Joining the line-up this time around is Cork's Gerald Ahern and our very own rising star, Lauryn Griffin who will be the opening act; she's been described by many as having "smooth melodies" and "stunning vocals" and organisers have promised that audience members will be treated to a delightful array of songs from the Tralee native.

"We are planning to make these 'Stag & Doe' sessions a regular event in Tralee. We are trying to put the town back on the map for original live music events as we aim to showcase home grown talent alongside the top artists in the Irish music industry," said Tadhg Flynn, one of the organisers of the night. There is a €10 entry fee for the event which can be bought on the door on the night or which can be pre-ordered for €8 from EventBrite. This is a strictly over 18's show and doors will open at 9pm.
