Following on from an exciting month of shows and events at the Tech Amergin centre in Waterville, another great show for the theatre is already on the horizon.

'Sideways on Planet Piano', which is billed as a unique and original one-woman show, will be showing in the Tech Amergin Centre in Waterville on the night of Saturday May 19 at 8pm sharp.

Written and performed by Ruti Lachs, the show is described as "the moving and amusing musical story of an ordinary single woman who parties, brings up her son, has various relationships, and struggles with huge problems - like what to do next.

Advice is given by the adult son and the very Jewish grandma." This intimate 50 minute show, is by turns comedic, moving, and challenging.

The melodic elements throughout the show draw on klezmer, folk, jazz, and blues styles. If you are in and around the area that particular weekend and are looking for something a little bit different to occupy your time with, then come along to this.
