Bear lands in the Dingle Peninsula

Tralee fishing enthusiast Daniel Brosnan was left stunned on Thursday as he witnessed Courteney Cox and Bear Grylls land by helicopter near secluded Loch an Dúin on the Dingle Peninsula:

"I'm often here because it's a great fishing spot and it's a beautiful, almost hidden part of the world, so to see a helicopter landing was totally out of the ordinary!"

"I thought it was the army, because it would have taken a very skilled pilot to land there."

"I saw a man and a woman getting out, and they were collected again later. I heard since that Bear Grylls and Courteney Cox were around, so I've figured out it must have been them!"

The man behind dinglepeninsulafishandhunt.com has since uploaded footage of their departure to YouTube.

The filming was for Bear Grylls' TV show, Running Wild, and Cox stayed in Killarney with fiancé, Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, during her trip to the county.

It comes just months after Friends co-star Matt Le Blanc visited Kerry for Top Gear filming with then co-presenter Chris Evans.
