Asdee GAA launch Stars in Their Eyes night

Asdee GAA will run their second 'Stars In Their Eyes' in the Asdee Community Centre on Saturday, November 18.

12 acts from around North Kerry will take to the stage to try and win either the popular vote or the judges vote on the night.

The three judges are The Kerryman golf correspondent and Ballybunion native Ger 'Flash' Walsh, renowned entertainer Frances Kennedy - who was recently in the national spotlight with her Ryanair song, - and Timmy Moynihan of Radio Kerry's Terrace Talk.

Tickets are on sale from club officers, Asdee Post Office and John Pius Walsh's shop. They are priced at €15, with each ticket holder receiving a complimentary programme at the door.

"Demand is extremely high so please buy in advance or come early on the night to avoid disappointment, as space is limited," an organiser said.

The doors open at 7pm, with kick-off at 8pm sharp, followed by a disco after the crowning of our winning acts.

"The marquee will once again host the bar, where the quality of the pints provided by Joe Dee and Gemma Collins received rave reviews last year. If it is anything like last year, it should be a night to remember," they added.
