KERRY Airport has announced that passengers travelling on the twice-daily Ryanair service to Dublin can now avail of an airport transfer facility being offered by the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA).

Passengers with an onward flight out of Dublin Airport (on the same day) can now transit straight to their next departure gate without having to go “landside” and be re-screened.
Regardless of the air carrier of the onward flight, passengers must be checked in and have a valid boarding pass on arrival at Dublin Airport.

“We are entering the peak summer period and this positive development for passengers flying from Kerry to onward destinations through Dublin is most welcome,” said Kerry Airport CEO John Mulhern.

“We expect this new system will take some of the stress out of travelling during what is a very busy time for all airports.”

This facility is available to passengers with cabin baggage only though passengers with carry-on luggage will receive a ‘domestic transfer voucher’ to expedite their entry to the security screening area at Dublin airport once their luggage is checked in.
