Yummy mummy Una happy to make celebrity mother shortlist

SHE'S already a yummy mummy and now it looks like The Saturday's Una Healy is set to become Celebrity Mum of The Year.

The singer (31) is delighted to be nominated for the prestigious title which has previously recognised the maternal skills of Kerry Katona and glamour model Katie Price.

After learning that she was one of the 18 celeb mums shortlisted, Una took to Twitter to thank the sponsors Foxy Bingo.

Una and her husband Ben Foden welcomed Aoife Belle to the world last March and, since her arrival, the proud mum has been posting photos of her adorable daughter online. She's photographed her in a pumpkin patch and regularly sends snaps to Ben.

Aoife Belle also features in The Saturday's reality TV show Chasing the Saturdays and is affectionately called the "sixth Saturday".

Competition

However, Una faces stiff competition from Royal mum-to-be Kate Middleton, who is the only woman in the finals who hasn't actually had a baby yet.

Popstar Adele (24) and London based songstress Lily Allen (27) are in the running to become the top mum, while previous winner Katie Price (34), WAG and perennial holiday maker Coleen Rooney (26) and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton (37) also make the list.

In 2011, X Factor star and host of The Love Machine Stacey Solomon bagged the prize. But Stacey, who is the face of frozen food supermarket chain Iceland, was stripped of her title after pictures emerged of her smoking while she was pregnant.

Last year Holly Willoughby and Victoria Beckham were beaten by Katie Price.

The Celebrity Mum of the Year 2013 will be appropriately announced on Mother's Day, March 10.
