Winds, snow and ice set to make an unwelcome return

Weather warnings have been issued for 11 counties amid predictions of snow, ice and winds of up to 120kph.
For many people it'll be a case of batten down the hatches as unsettled weather is set to hit some parts of Ireland over the coming days.
A status orange wind warning was issued for Donegal and took effect from 8am today.
The warning will last until noon on Thursday as wind speeds of 60kph to 75kph and gusts of 100kph to 120kph batter the county. Coastal flooding is also likely today.
"Due to a combination of waves, spring tides and surge, the possibility of coastal flooding will be increased on Thursday," a Met Eireann forecaster warned.
A status yellow snow and ice warning is already in place for Donegal and will be in effect until 8am tomorrow.

Separate status yellow wind warnings also came into effect for 11 counties from 4am today - Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Louth, Meath, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo and Clare.
"South-west winds veering west to north-west will reach mean wind speeds of 50kph to 65kph and gusts of 80kph to 110kph," said the warning.
"Due to a combination of waves, spring tides and surge, the possibility of coastal flooding is increased along western and north-western coasts on Thursday."
