Wagner eyes new Terriers

The Terriers invested around £40million on improving their squad in the summer after surviving their first season in the Premier League.

But they have struggled to replicate the flying start they made this time last year and will chase their second win of the season - and first on the road - at big-spending Wolves on Sunday.

"For me it isn't as easy as saying 'we haven't scored enough goals, we need another number nine, buy him, then we will be safe' because that's not how it works at our football club," Wagner said.

"Of course, I started a few weeks ago to have my eye on the market. It's important you are prepared for the window.

"But in general, everything you think about today, in six weeks' time it could be totally different.

"This is why my main focus isn't on the window, only on how we can collect the next points against Wolverhampton Wanderers," he added.
