Vogue Williams is jetting to LA to film her new TV show following her high-profile split from Brian McFadden.
The 29-year-old is shooting a Reality Bites series for RTE called Mean Girls, where she meets women in prison and tough Muay Thai fighters.
"It's a really fascinating show. I'm going to LA soon and I never thought I'd say this, but I'm hoping to make it on to death row," she told the Herald.
"It's really quite hard to gain access, but I'm also going to try and stay overnight in a prison. It's just for a couple of weeks because I have to shoot another part of the series back here, but I'm looking forward to it.
"I've no plans to move to the US, I'm happy travelling over and back between London and Dublin," she added.
Vogue was speaking at the Dundalk Races, where she was judging the best dressed lady competition.
Dressed
The Howth native was dressed all in black for her day out at the races, in a dress by Alice McCall and a hat borrowed from her mum.
However, notably absent from her outfit was her engagement and wedding rings.
She spent the day chilling out with friends, leaving the split firmly behind her.
Writing in her column for the Sunday World, Vogue said it had been a "tough week".
"We both have great families and friends that are being really supportive too," she said.
"I don't want to say too much on the subject, but I will say that we really do remain friends and will always be in each others lives," she added.
Meanwhile, Brian (35) was in London filming a new ITV show called Keep it in the Family with Louis Walsh, Rebecca Ferguson and Kimberley Wyatt.
He hinted that he would be putting his heartache to good use with music, tweeting: "songs will be written this week".
The former Westlife star has also been focusing on his two daughters with his first wife Kerry Katona (34), Lilly (11) and Molly (13).
