ST VINCENT'S extended their lead at the top of the Dublin Adult Hurling League Division 1 following a comfortable 5-10 to 0-8 victory over ST JUDE'S at Páirc Naomh Uinsionn on Sunday morning.

After the disappointment of their midweek championship exit, the hosts made it four wins from four with Mossy McGrane helping himself to an impressive 2-5 from full-forward.

Willie Lowry maintained his fine form from full-back alongside Mark Kirwan while further goals by Dáithi O Murchú, Eoin Drumgoole and Seán Donnelly sealed a 17-point win for Vinnies.

On Saturday evening, a goal from substitute Cian O'Mahony helped ST BRIGID'S to a nine-point win (1-17 to 0-11) over CRUMLIN in Pearse Park.

Utility player Cathal Doyle excelled at centrefield for the visitors, who pushed clear to victory thanks to the efforts of Aodhán McInerney, David Smith, John O'Loughlin and Dublin minor Paul Winters.

Elsewhere in Division 1, BALLYBODEN ST ENDA'S and CUALA recorded comfortable wins over NAOMH MEARNóG and BALLINTEER ST JOHN'S respectively.

In Division 2, goals in either half by Stephen Kelly and Conor Henry, younger brother of former Dublin footballer Dave, proved crucial as Raheny pipped Lucan Sarsfields by two points (2-11 to 1-12) in their top-of-the-table clash at St Anne's Park.

Ger Sheehy and Ger Coady gave the hosts a solid spine at full-back and centre-back respectively while seven points from Greg Bennett and telling contributions by Kelly, Eoin Gillen and David Henry were vital to their victory.
