Two brothers charged over death threats
TWO brothers arrived in a taxi at a west Dublin nightclub and threatened to kill the doormen, it has been alleged.
Gareth (24) and Glenn Quinn (20) had their cases adjourned at Blanchardstown District Court.
Both men, of St Mark's Drive, Clondalkin, are charged with making threats to kill or cause serious harm.
Threats were allegedly made against three named men at the Arc Nightclub, Liffey Valley, on January 20 last year.
In Gareth Quinn's case, Sgt Maria O'Callaghan said the DPP was directing summary disposal of the case at District Court level.

She said it would be alleged that the defendant and his brother had been at the bar earlier on in the night and that an incident had occurred.
Both men returned to the premises in a taxi and approached security staff, she said.
It was alleged that they threatened the three members of staff, who believed the accused men had a weapon with them at the time.
It was further alleged that the taxi driver came back to the bar and said a knife had been left behind in his vehicle.
Judge McHugh accepted jurisdiction and adjourned the case to July 31.
He also adjourned the case against Glen n Quinn, who had been charged earlier.
