Tulisa becomes latest soccer WAG for Magpies star Simpson

X FACTOR judge Tulisa Contostavlos has become the latest celebrity to sample life as a soccer WAG.

The 24-year-old singer has been spotted out with Newcastle United star Danny Simpson.

Tulisa and Danny are reported to be dating after they enjoyed a night out at a Manchester hotel.

The couple met through mutual friends and are already planning their next date, friends of the singer have said.

However, Tulisa is not the first famous lady to have caught the footballer's eye -- he has previously been linked to a bevy of beautiful girls.

In April 2009, he was seen on a night out at top London restaurant Nobu with former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas, who explosively revealed she had a fling with Manchester United star Ryan Giggs.

Last year Natasha Giggs, who also had an affair with footballer Ryan, admitted she had "a fling" with Danny during a break from her husband Rhodri Giggs.

Danny's first celebrity girlfriend was Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallet, who he was seen kissing in March 2008 while still playing with Manchester United.

Most recently Danny split from his long-term girlfriend Stephanie, with whom he has a daughter, Skye.

The father-of-one met Tulisa on Tuesday evening and treated her to a romantic evening of dinner and drinks after swapping numbers and arranging their first date last week.

They partied at the five-star hotel in Manchester, but are in no hurry to rush things according to a source.

Tulisa has been linked to a number of other celebrity lovers. She enjoyed a brief relationship with Skins actor Jack O'Connell and was also linked to Shameless star Jody Latham.

In February she split from her N-Dubz co-star Fazer after almost two years together.

She was embroiled in a legal battle in March after a video showing the singer performing a sex act appeared online.

Furious Tulisa obtained an injunction to prevent the tape being distributed further across the internet.
