Trial for two on €50k handling charge
By Eimear Cotter
TWO men accused of handling more than €50,000 worth of electronic equipment are facing trial.
Daniel McMahon (25) and Paul Casey (44) appeared before Blanchardstown District Court on the charges.
Mr McMahon, of Orchardville Gardens, Belfast, and Mr Casey, of Carton Court, Poppintree, are charged with handling stolen property.
It is alleged the pair handled €53,000 worth of stolen electronic equipment, the property of Dixons PC World, at Finnstown House Hotel, Newcastle Road, Lucan, last July 18.
A state solicitor said the book of evidence was not yet ready and requested a two-week adjournment.
Judge David McHugh adjourned the matter for two weeks for the service of the book of evidence.
