Too cold? Not for this brave turtle

Locals out for a brisk walk in the snow in Fairview Park had a surprise visitor waiting for them over the weekend.

Traditionally associated with sunnier climes, this giant turtle was drawing considerable attention from visitors to the northside park.

Enthusiastic associates of the Archipelago Shoestring project took time out to create Archie, an over-sized replication of the Archipelago logo, a new initiative to support fledgling Irish enterprise.
