The 'sports-mad' girl who stole GAA ace Brogan's heart
engagement
ThE Dubliner who has stolen GAA hunk Bernard Brogan's heart said she is "very excited" to be engaged and looking forward to celebrating with family and friends.
The new fiancee of three-time All-Ireland winner Bernard said that they were over the moon.
Bernard popped the question to his delighted other-half over the weekend as they enjoyed a winter break in the sun with a trip to Turkey.
dating
Dubliner Keira has been dating the Oliver Plunkett's clubman for three years.
The couple are due to return home tomorrow and have spent the last few days soaking up the sun and letting their new relationship status sink in.
"We're both really excited and looking forward to seeing and celebrating with family and friends," a delighted Keira told the Herald.
No doubt their friends and family already have plenty of celebrations planned for the loved up pair.
The couple had known each other for a "long-time" before beginning a relationship and the footballer's uncle Ben Brogan has said Keira will make a "great addition" to the family.
Keira, who is a graduate of the Smurfit School of Business, last year began working as an account director for an independent management consultancy.
craic
Describing his other-half as a "sports-mad girl", Bernard said the couple have "great craic" together.
"She was a great basketball player and swimmer and loves the GAA and rugby so she loves the journey," he said.
The couple, who are said to be currently hunting for a house, have no plans to set a date for the wedding just yet with a busy GAA season ahead as Dublin bid for back-to-back All-Ireland titles.
