U2 bassist Adam Clayton, inset, led a number of celebrities as they took some time out to launch Walk In My Shoes for mental health awareness yesterday. Some of Ireland's well-known faces, including snooker star Ken Doherty and rugby analyst Brent Pope, took part in the Walk In My Shoes event in support of St Patrick's University Hospital. It is the second year of the annual campaign, which takes place on Friday, April 12. The hospital are hoping to fund much-needed services for young people suffering from mental health problems.

• Swedish pop artist Linnea Olsson will perform her first Irish concert in Dublin next weekend. The Swedish cellist is performing in the Workman's Club next Saturday, March 2, with hits from her debut album. Having previously worked with fellow Scandinavian artist Ane Brun and international luminaries including Peter Gabriel as a member of their worldwide touring bands, Linnea is striking out on her own with this cello-pop collection. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are €10.

• The Fourth Annual Great Irish Foodie Quiz takes place on Thursday, March 7. It starts from 7.30pm in The Circle Club of the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin's Docklands, with food available and a full bar. Entry to the Great Irish Foodie Quiz costs €100 for a team of four ,with all proceeds going to Down Syndrome Ireland. Book at http://www.mycharity.ie/event/greatirishfoodiequiz2013/. The winners will be treated to a list of luxury prizes, including an overnight stay and dinner in the Michelin- starred restaurant at The Cliff House Ardmore, Waterford. A €200 voucher for Chapter One restaurant, a masterclass with Michelin-star chef Kevin Thornton, of Thornton's restaurant, and four VIP tickets to the Taste Of Dublin.

• Easter is coming early. The Irish chocolate house will launch its selection of traditional Easter eggs and products for this year, including the iconic Lindt Gold Bunny. Guests will be treated to a special chocolate cocktail or a hot chocolate as well as learning more about the Lindt Make Easter Sweet For Temple Street campaign.

Attendees will see the collection of Lindt Gold Bunnies signed by national and international celebrities, including Robbie Williams, Olympic gold medallist Katie Taylor and Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe. The launch is in the Morrison Hotel on Ormond Quay at 6pm on Wednesday, February 27.

• US rockers The National will play Live at the Marquee in Cork on June 28 next as part of the city's month-long concert series. They will join previously announced acts such as Elton John, Sting and Olly Murs in the tent near Cork's docklands.
