He was here recently for the premiere of American Pie: The Reunion. And now Hollywood hunk Seann William Scott will be joining the 3e team to help them kick off the brand new season of Uploaded, which starts tomorrow evening. The star will be giving viewers his choice of the top internet clips which gave him the most belly laughs. Presented by Gordon Hayden, the show is a collection of the craziest and funniest video clips on the web. Now the actor, who has reprised his role as Stifler in the sequel to the hit movie, will be revealing what made him chuckle. An insider said his choice of clips included such titles as The Woman Crushing Grapes to the Talking Dog clip. We can't wait.
•X Factor finalist Mary Byrne has joined forces with singer/songwriter Phil Coulter to kick off a six-night run at The Olympia Theatre.
The Ballyfermot crooner and the song-writing legend went down a storm with audiences at the Dame Street venue, having received a standing ovation for their debut show on Tuesday night. The pair collaborated on Mary's new album, the result of her new recording contract with Universal Music Ireland. And audiences can now see them live as part of their live tour, with Coulter performing a solo selection of some of his best-known hits with his All Star Band, as well as devising new arrangements for Mary. The concerts finish on Sunday.
•It's that time of year again when Live At Leopardstown kicks into action. A combination of superb racing action along with a feast of live music and entertainment kicks off on June 8 and runs on nine dates until August 16.
Among the names who have been added to the list are The Saw Doctors, Ryan Sheridan, Royseven, The Walls, Jape, Kila and Bipolar Empire.
This year sees the cost of entry down to €15, which includes access to the live music area. And for soccer fans, the Ireland versus Spain game will be shown on June 14 to make sure nobody misses out on the action.
•The party crew will be heading to the Radisson Blue Golden Lane on Wednesday for an invite-only soiree. Online travel company ClickandGo will be celebrating its second birthday and has invited a number of celebrities and socialites to help them mark the occasion. Taking place in the Sky Suite on the seventh floor of the southside hotel, there will be plenty of drinks and canapes.
And the red carpet will be rolled out at the Mansion House on Thursday for the Bord Gais Social Media Awards.
