Despite Sunday's Leinster disappointment, they are the undisputed modern-day super-power of Dublin hurling.
The famous five-in-a-row Hogan's Heroes. And now, under King Kenny, they have once again returned to the top of the summit.
They lit up the capital with their renaissance rock and roll show this season, and they have been rewarded with an electric 11 nominations in the Dublin Bus/Herald Dubs Stars Hurling awards.
They had to overcome Lucan Sarsfields in a compelling county final that drew the largest crowd in years on the small ball's big day.
It was Lucan's first final, and their memorable season has concluded with no fewer than ten Dubs Stars nominations.
The two beaten semi-finalists, St Brigid's and Craobh Chiaráin, also feature prominently in the nominations, as do last year's champions, Kilmacud Crokes.
In all, 17 clubs have made the honours list. And among them are Parnell's, the Senior 'B' champs.
The Dubs Stars hurling team will be announced on Tuesday week, December 3. Next Tuesday, the Dubs Stars football team will be revealed. It's sure to be a late debate.
The annual New Year Dubs Stars hurling and football games will be held at the splendid Round Tower, Clondalkin facility on the Monastery Road.
