Teen guilty of €75 mugging
A TEENAGE boy has admitted taking part in the mugging of a man who was threatened by a youth with a glass bottle.
The 16-year-old first-time offender pleaded guilty yesterday to robbing the man at Coultry Road, in Ballymun, in Dublin, on December 8, 2010.
Dublin Children's Court heard the boy put his hand into the man's money belt and took €75 after his accomplice threatened the victim.
Judge Bryan Smyth sought a pre-sentence probation report on the boy and remanded him on continuing bail to appear again in May.
