A TEENAGER is facing trial on drugs charges after he was allegedly caught with large quantities of cannabis, cocaine and heroin.

Christopher Robinson (19) is also accused of the unlawful possession of 75 rounds of 0.25 calibre ammunition after his home was searched by gardai.

He is facing trial by judge and jury in the Circuit Court where the penalties on conviction are potentially more severe after the DPP ruled that the matters were too serious for the District Court.

Judge Denis McLoughlin adjourned the matter for four weeks for the service of the book of evidence.

The accused, of Barry Close, Finglas, appeared before Blan- chardstown District Court charged with possession of cannabis, cocaine and heroin and having the drugs for sale or supply. The offences allegedly took place at his home in Finglas on last June 11.

Mr Robinson is further charged with possession of diazepam for sale or supply.

He is also accused of the possession of 75 rounds of 0.25 calibre ammunition during the same incident.

Defence solicitor Fiona Brennan was assigned on free legal aid.
