A TEENAGER who demanded a lift from a care worker smashed the front windscreens of two vehicles belonging to a care agency after he was refused, a court heard.
John Stephen McDonagh (18) picked up a stool and threw it through the windscreen of one of the cars. He also repeatedly punched the windscreen of a second car, causing more than €750 worth of damage.
Judge John Lindsay adjourned the matter for two weeks for a probation report.
The defendant, with an address at Cushlawn Park in Tallaght, admitted before Blanchardstown District Court to two counts of criminal damage on July 7, 2010.
