Superjumbo engines 'faulty'
Australia's air safety authority said engines on some A380 superjumbos have a potential manufacturing defect that could cause engine failure.
A potential fault in an oil tube connection could lead to "fatigue cracking, oil leakage and potential engine failure from an oil fire", the Australian Transport Safety Bureau said.
A Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engine on a Qantas A380 disintegrated after take-off from Singapore on November 4.
Tracey's killer pleads guilty
A 33-year-old man has pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to manslaughter.
Wesley Ward (33) of Clondalkin, pleaded guilty to the unlawful killing of Tracey O'Brien in Dublin on June 25, 2009.
He will be sentenced later.
