Stop the lights ... Miriam's in the dark

THE lights are off but Miriam's home.

Maybe it was the dark cloud hanging over James Reilly or maybe the cash-strapped station didn't pay the electricity bill, but RTE's Prime Time was left in the dark last night.

Presenter Miriam O'Callaghan never even flinched as the lights went down on her piece to camera about the Irish inability to speak foreign languages.

However, it did leave viewers with an unexpectedly clear view of a very disgruntled Health Minister in the background. It seems that Kevin Bakhurst will have more problems to fix than the low morale when he arrives at Montrose on Monday.
