St Kilian's scalp Loreto to reach Cup quarters

NEW Ireland Under-15 Girls international team head coach Alistair Harvey has had an eventful fortnight.

The St Kilian's DSD man took on the international job in the summer with Ireland aiming to end their recent Bob Docherty Cup drought in the New Year.

After watching Leinster retain their Interprovincial Tournament title earlier in the month, he was on the sideline for his school in an interesting clash last week.

St Kilian's Under-17 side faced off against Loreto College Crumlin, managed by Leinster boss – and Harvey's friend – Paul Howard at Brickfield Park.

Goals from Tess Purser, Nina Heisterkamp, Anna Heisterkamp and a brace from Cianne Cunningham ensured Harvey was the happier of the two representative bosses thanks to a 5-1 win.

St Kilian's will now face Ratoath College in the only quarter-final which has had its line-up decided.
