Wolves say no to loan

WOLVES boss Kenny Jackett will block a loan move away from the club for Ireland U21 keeper Aaron McCarey as he's needed as cover.

McCarey has only returned to fitness after a four-month absence following back surgery, and a loan spell had been mooted, but with No. 1 keeper Carl Ikeme out injured, Jackett is keen to keep hold of McCarey. "I'd very much doubt we'll loan him out in this period," Jackett said.

"If we're not going to play him in the first team then the temptation after so long out is to keep him playing rather than put him on the bench. The more games he can play at this particular time the better he'll be," added the Wolves boss.
