SOUTHEND United's Irish star Barry Corr hopes to follow up his Wembley success with a new deal.
The Wicklow-born striker was one of four Irish players to feature for the Shrimpers in their playoff final defeat, on penalties, of Wycombe.
So the club will be in League One next term and Corr, 30, hopes to stay on.
"My contract's up at the end of the season, so if it is my last game then what a way to sign off," he said.
"I hope that isn't the case and we can get something sorted. I've been here for five years and the fans have always been great to me. I love Southend and I'm so happy at the moment."
Meanwhile, former Ireland U21 cap Ian McLoughlin has been released by League One side MK Dons.
