ST KILLIAN'S DSD will look to finish the season by completing a double of boys and girls cup successes in today's under-17 Girls Leinster League final, writes Gavin Earley.

The Clonskeagh-based German school face Lucan's Coláiste Cois Life at Peamount United FC (11am ko) in the decider.

Victory would see the girls follow in the footsteps of the senior boys side, who claimed victory in the Leinster Senior 'B' Cup final earlier in the year. Allister Harvey is in charge of football at Killian's and he watched on as captain Hanna Heisterkamp grabbed a brace in their convincing 5-0 semi-final win over Larkin Community College.

Harvey's side did reach the Leinster Cup showpiece earlier in the season, but were seen off on the day by eventual All-Ireland winners Loreto Secondary School, Kilkenny.

In the under-15 girls Leinster League Cup, Alexandra College were seen off by St Peter's College, Dunboyne, at the semi-final stage.
